6e bezoek aan Pittsburgh

Here are a few pictures from our most recent visit to
Pittsburgh (8/29 - 9/4 2004).
Alweer een nieuwe speeltuin gevonden in Pittsburgh.
Sofie en Michelle vinden deze ook heel erg fijn.
Pittsburgh has so many playgrounds. We explored this one for the
first time, and Sofie and Michelle loved it.
Deze keer hebben we ook weer genoten van de dierentuin.
We konden een paar mooie plaatjes maken.
We went to the zoo. This time we had an excellent view of
the lions and the elephants.
Sofie kan deze keer heel goed overweg met deze karretjes.
Michelle immiteerd Sofie heel aardig, maar gebruikt het meer
als een soort botsautotje en heeft de grootste lol als ze
tegen iemand aanrijd.
Sofie enjoyed riding these toy cars very much.
We were very proud that Michelle managed to ride them
as well but she thought it was hilarious to bump into
the other drivers (ahum, less proud).
De auto-atractie was deze keer ook open en Sofie
en Michelle vonden dat ook heel leuk.
Sofie loves this attraction too.

We hebben de hele week bij Coert, Anita, Manouk en Seanne
gelogeerd. Dat was heel erg gezellig. Manouk vierde deze
week haar 2e verjaardag.
Manouk celebrates her second birthday.
Daar horen natuurlijk kadootjes bij.
With a birthday come presents.
Sofie kijkt toe hoe Manouk haar kadootjes uitpakt.
Haar poppen zijn nog altijd populair.
Sofie's dolls are still very popular.
Manouk en Michelle zitten samen op de triptrap.
Dat is het enige dat Michelle graag deelt. Verder
ligt ze in haar bed soms te proberen hoe ze het
meest overtuigend over zal komen: "Mijn", "MIJN",
"van MIJ" in allerlei verschillende toonhoogtes.
Manouk and Michelle are sharing a chair, the only thing
they love to share!
Hoewel Michelle aardig praat kan ze nog niet altijd
even goed uit haar woorden komen. Dat compenseert ze
met haar expressieve gezichtsuitdrukkingen.
